hye...i'm still new in blogging (though i've created it for the past 1 year or so) and this will be my 1st post..-in here.still clicking to the places i wasnt suppose to click, scribbling (err..in this case typing ;p) words to be put in here...hurm...but my recent conference that i've attended can become a good topic for me to start with. Last week, 10-13 Dec. 08' was a whole 4 days 3 nights stay at A FAmosa Resort where 3 divisions of the Attorney General Chambers were gathered in a huge conference for this year. The event was organised by the AGs officers of the Headquarters and we, as the officers from the Ministries just went without much headache to handle the event..hehehhe..that's was the best part...but the boring part came later on when we had to sit down and listen to a few talks held...sleeping and chit chatting were the main thing to do.., i found that so many people doing their own matters and not giving much attention to the speakers.
The 1st nite was a Red Carpet Dinner where 3 divisions joined in one hall...whoaa...what a crowd..i was frustrated cause we cant pick our friends to dine in at our table..we were given random table numbers...sheeesshhh...BORINGGG.....the food were tasteless..it should be chinese food but do chinese have Tom Yam in their menu? i wonder...hehhe..the 1st course was lobster...10 of us in that table were jawdropped when looking at the lobster carried in a huge plate by the waiter...we were so excited...and suddenly..goshhh...there was no lobster meat at all...it was just a plate garnished with the head and tail of a lobster and in the middle was crab meat mixed with cabbage...arghh...we were fooled by the pleasant representation on the plate..later, the food was served one course by another in a very long period..we have to wait till 11 pm until they served the last course...that was a total nightmare dinner for most of us who were starving badly...i didnt enjoy the dinner at all..went back to the room with stomach full of gas.huhuhu...
The second night was a Fairy Tales dinner where we had to wear costume matching to the theme..There was no long pause for me to choose the right costume..I've appeared as an Elegant witch for that night (the costume was tagged elegant by the shop..not me..hehehhe). And i did enjoy the dinner because it was served buffet. The next day, Dilla (my officemate) and I stole some time to do handcraftt shopping at the roadside not far from the resort. My car were fully loaded with Dilla's tudung saji, our rice containers made from mengkuang and other stuffs...for myself, i've bought a pretty fridge magnet cause i'm now a collector..love it..
