What do i do everytime i come back from work? Cooking of course! It's my favourite activity though i'm not really a pro cook..sigh! A lots more that i need to learn..If it's about masakan kampung, my momsy is the best cook ever..If i tried new recipies like kwey tiaw kungfu, my mom will definitely turn sour and says: "err..lain kali benda- benda yg macamni tak payah masak lah ye..mak rasa ni je..."-means that she is not approving other recipies besides masakan kampung...
Unlike my hubby, he'll eat and love to adventure with foods. I sometimes love to try out new recipies yang hentam kromo...what if i put this..how it will tastes..just love doing the campak- campak stuff into the pot. Alhamdulillah, so far my experiments were done great... (hahha...ye ke?). Above are 2 dishes hentam kromo yang i managed to cook. I don't know whether it will have the same taste if you guys want to try it yourself. Nevertheless, it's worth trying little chef!

Steamed chicken and veggies.
Ingredients & preparations:
chicken of course..(but you can try meat..why not?)- cut it into pieces- depends whether you want it large or small piece.
garlic- 3-4 pieces depend on the amount of chicken.
ginger- 1 inch
salt
(all of the above are pounded and marinade with the chicken)- count to 100..(hahha)
~wrap the chickens in aluminium foil (separate foil for each part of the chicken)
potatoes-don't peel off the skin, just slice into 4 sections without separating it
put some butter and pounded garlic in the centre, spread some pepper on top and wrap them in the foils(separate foil for each of the potato)
veggies~i prefer~ cabbagge flower and carrots- just sliced them according to your creativity, put in one huge foil, add some butter and pepper and salt to it- wallla...yummilicious...
Just put all of them (in nice shining foils) into the steamed pot (mine is two tier). The chicken and the potatoes will go to the 1st (below) layer because they take time to tender and the veggies will go on top layer.
How to prepare the gravy? Simple..I just saute' the pounded garlic and onions (paste like) into the pan oiled with butter or margarine. Put some oyster sauce and a chicken cube. Dash some blackpepper and pepper (i prefer to put lotsa it). Let it sizzle..oh ya..don't forget to put some water (i mean some...not much ok?) Then, to thicken the gravy, put some corn flour (mixed with water in the 1st place).
Just toss all the steamed items on a plate and pour the gravy on top..ready to rumble babeh...yeayy...
Mushroom soup~ preferable to eat it with toast or French bread
Ingredients and preparations.
pieces of garlics and some onions- pound till mash. Saute' it in the frying pan oiled with butter. Add some salt and dash some black pepper and pepper. Put a chicken cube and let it melt. Add on milk- about 4-5 cups (i just pour it according to my intuition...hohoho) together with cream cheese (i bought a big chunk but just cut and use quarter of it). Last but not least, put mushrooms (canned button mushrooms, slice it) and let it sizzle. Just to thicken the soup, put some corn flour (mixed with water) onto it and a little bit of chopped 'daun sup'. It does taste like canned mushrooms soup though. Just that it's healthier...ehe...
